Assassin's Creed Rogue action-adventure game , which the Ubisoft Sofia has developed and Ubisoft released. This is the seventh main game in the Assassin’s Creed series , its plot takes place between 2013 Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and 2012 Assassin’s Creed III , the game’s final mission is also a prologue to Assassin’s Creed Unity released in 2014 . This is the last Assassin's Creed game ever on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360also released for consoles. The game first appeared on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles in November 2014, except in North America, Oceania, Europe and Japan, where it only appeared in December 2014, and on Windows on March 10, 2015. Later, on March 20, 2018, an improved version was also released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. The game, packaged with Black Flag gel , was also released for the Nintendo Switch console as part of Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection on December 6, 2019.The plot is a fictional story based on real events and follows the centuries-long war between the Assassins and the Templars. The story depicts a man who became a churchman from an assassin named Shay Patrick Cormac, who hunts down his old comrades out of the brotherhood after he betrays them. The gameplay in Rogue is very similar to Black Flag, a mix of sailing and land-based rear-view discovery, with just a few new things added to it.
GAMEPLAY
Assassin's Creed Rogue is an action-adventure, stealth game set in an open world environment and played from a third-person perspective. Naval aspects from previous games return with the player controlling Shay's ship, the Morrigan. The Morrigan has a shallower draft compared to Edward Kenway's Jackdaw from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, allowing for river travel. New features include new ship-based weapons such as releasing an oil slick which can then be ignited, Puckle guns, and the ability for enemies to board the Morrigan during ship-to-ship combat. The arctic environment also adds features to naval gameplay and exploration, as certain icebergs can be rammed with an icebreaker. However, the underwater diving missions featured in Black Flag do not exist as swimming in the North Atlantic causes the player's health to rapidly deplete due to the frigid water, though Shay is able to swim in the more southerly waters of the 'river valley' area.
